Hi, my name is
Joe Sheldon. As the owner/operator of a DJ/Live music company,
I have been doing events (DJs/Bands) for over 20 years. As Both DJ/MC and Band leader I know what
it takes to be excellent as an entertainer. It takes knowledge of music and musical styles
as well as the pride and ownership of an extensive musical library. All of which develops
over many years. It also takes an intimate knowledge of how an event works and flows which can
only come from 1,000s of event planning sessions and consultations. I have found when you are in the
middle of an event, you need to be flexible and creative to deal with any on the spot changes
that might arise. A DJ or Band Leader needs to coordinate with all the vendors and make sure
that the schedule is kept as closely on time as possible. Timing is everything! And you don’t have
timing unless you have your finger on the pulse of the party.
State Of The Art Equipment:
(Mackie and JBL powered speakers are used exclusively)
and an extensive library of the songs that people want to listen and dance to.
A wireless microphone is standard for the Have a Party Pros DJ/Band Sound System.
(Optional equipment: Wireless Lapel microphones and ceremony sound systems, Stage lighting, Ambient Lighting
and Special EFX lighting.)
Planning And Consultation:
Even though you need to be flexible at the event, It is essential to
have a plan. Storybook weddings! Create
your own or have us help you design your special day. Either way we are
here to help assist with as many details as you wish.
No Cheese Please
We are Elegant and Sophisticated. Tuxedo is Standard attire. We won't
play the chicken dance or the YMCA unless you want it. Our goal is for
you to have a memorable wedding not one you want to forget.
